The mission of this Chamber is to develop, promote, and sustain a thriving business and civic environment for Deaf-owned businesses. We are dedicated to empowering Deaf, DeafBlind, Late-Deafened, and Hard of Hearing entrepreneurs by providing access to business education, capital opportunities, technical support, procurement resources, and strategic networking.

We achieve our mission through partnerships with members, the Board of Directors, local and state government, tribal entities, volunteers, and the wider public. Together, we strengthen visibility, advocacy, and resources that drive growth and sustainability for Deaf-owned businesses nationwide.
USAGE OF “DEAF”: Texas Deaf Chamber of Commerce is using the term “deaf” is being used in an all-inclusive manner, to include people who may identify as Deaf, deaf, DeafBlind, Deaf-disabled, hard of hearing, late-deafened, and hearing impaired. The Chamber recognizes that for many individuals, identity is fluid and can change over time or with setting. The Chamber has chosen to use one term "Deaf" with the goal of recognizing experiences that are shared by all members of our diverse communities while also honoring all our differences.
